We’re pleased to confirm the successful completion of several residential and commercial parking stress surveys across London and surrounding counties. They were carried out in full compliance with the Lambeth parking survey methodology — a standard used by many boroughs to assess residential parking capacity and stress.
Each survey was delivered on schedule and conducted in strict alignment with the methodology’s requirements and any borough planning specific requirements. This includes mapping the survey extents and ensuring the area accurately reflects the local parking environment.
Survey dates and extents were confirmed in advance with clients, and where necessary, agreed with local planning authorities to ensure compliance with borough-specific considerations.
In line with Lambeth’s methodology, parking capacity was assessed using 5.0m bay lengths(5.5m for Bexley Council), and comprehensive survey maps were produced to document actual parked vehicles, legal bay types, and any relevant restrictions (e.g., CPZs, yellow lines, or obstructions). Illegal or informal parking was also recorded and included in stress calculations, providing full transparency.
