Our Awesome Story

Our story really started as a Christmas story, having seen too much waste in resourcing and approach to project delivery in the construction industry, our Managing Director put in his resignation from permanent employment on the first day of Christmas 2015…….

Our approach to project delivery makes our Client’s the soul of the projects we work on and our main goal is to illustrate their values and requirements through design. We take the project requirements, flesh it out and advice our clients as appropriate before proceeding with producing the required deliverables.

SANDS is a civil engineering and transport planning organisation that provides support to Developers, Architects and Planning consultants for civil engineering design and transport planning requirements to discharge planning conditions and design necessary civil infrastructure.

Our skills are based on the knowledge and experience of our team supported with the right software’s, quality management process and excellent project management to ensure a successful project delivery

2015

Company Registration

SANDS Civil Engineering Consultancy Limited registered with Company House 31st of December.

2017

ISO 9001 : 2015 Certification

Achieved ISO 9001 :2015 Registration in certifying the SANDS Quality Management System as part of our devotion to maintaining a high level quality of service.

2019

Active Trading

Company started active trading by signing up two key clients.

SANDS also created a free crowdfunding platform to test and assemble a web application design team for future growth. The site beta testing was used to support fund raising activities for His Majesty’s Theatre Music Hall Aberdeen at the AFBE-UK 2018 Gala in Scotland.

The platform was also used to raise funds for a literacy club for girls in public school in Nigeria with Ejaosan Foundation. Similarly, it was used to raise funds for Melanoma UK with a 10km ‘Run the River’ event along the Thames.

2020

Haringey Council DPS Registration

SANDS Civil Engineering Consultancy Limited is registered to undertake work with Haringey Council via the Dynamic Purchasing System, an intensive process but great experience for the team.

2021

Rebranding

We launched the new SANDS Civil Engineering Consultancy Limited website and logo February 2021, A design by our web application design team.
