Be First the development arm of London Borough of Barking and Dagenham appointed SANDS to produce a Travel Plan for Crown House. A proposed residential/mixed-use redevelopment of Crown House and Linton Road Car Park, located within Barking Town Centre.

The Site is formed of two separate parcels of land identified as Site A – Linton Road Car Park; and Site B – Crown House). The proposals seek to deliver a total of 396 new homes across both sites; together with 430 sqm of flexible commercial floorspace at ground floor level. The commercial floorspace facilitates Use Classes A1, A2, A3, B1, D1, D2, in addition to a significant new public realm. Sands produced the Travel Plan for Site B, CJCT are the Architect and lead designer and McLaren Construction are the main contractor.
