The proposal comprises the development of a vacant brownfield site to provide 35 residential dwellings. We provided a comprehensive package of works bridging the gap between highway design and transport planning. We produced a new access road design, Road Safety Audit Stage 1 – 3, Transport Statement and Parking Survey.

The biggest challenge was to overcome the existing 8.5% gradient to the site over the shortest design to satisfy the planning authority and reduce the cost impact to the development. We provided a 3D animation of the vehicle swept path to demonstrate zero grounding risk
