We’re pleased to announce the successful completion of a parking stress survey for a residential development at Birchanger Road, SE25 5BE. The survey was delivered on time and in full accordance with the Richmond Methodology, which is accepted by several London boroughs, including Croydon London Borough Council, for assessing residential parking capacity and stress.
Prior to commencement, the survey extents and dates were agreed in consultation with the planning authority to ensure full compliance with Croydon Council’s requirements. The survey covered all streets within a 200m walking radius of the site and was conducted during peak residential parking hours.
A total of three overnight surveys were carried out — two weekday nights and one weekend night (Sunday) — capturing accurate parking conditions during the most relevant periods.
The results confirmed that the proposed development would not contribute to unacceptable levels of on-street parking stress, helping to support a positive outcome in the planning application process.
We continue to provide high-quality, policy-compliant parking surveys across London, tailored to each local authority’s methodology and delivered with precision and professionalism.
